Hello, week 39! 👋 The last week of pregnancy, I Hello, week 39! 👋 The last week of pregnancy, I buy myself a cake. I save a few pieces in the fridge, slice, freeze, and vaccume seal the rest. I do this for a few reasons: After I have the baby, I'll have an arrival celebration treat available right away 🥳 If I go overdue, I have consolation cake. 🎂 During the early postpartum days that can be emotional, I have pick-me-up cake 🥰

The early days in our first home. We still don't The early days in our first home. We still don't have a kitchen sink or permanent cabinets. Our washer and dryer will be installed later this week, into a room with no drywall. Everything is everywhere. I'm due with baby #4 in 17 days. And yet, it's put us all at peace to finally be home. There's still a ton to do, but at least we're not divided between 2 spaces now and can settle into a new normal.

Hey all! It's been awhile with the holidays, baby Hey all! It's been awhile with the holidays, baby prep, moving, prep, and still trying to get this house back together. Getting all the "guts" into the house (new electric, plumbing, HVAC) has taken so long, a few times lately we've realized it's hard to remember what the house looked like in July. We did so much demo work months ago! Here are some before and after of the kitchen, laundry (to-be bathroom) and back hall. Its easy to see the walls gone. What isn't seen is new plumbing, hvac, electric, rot removal, sub floor releveling and replacement, and hundreds of pounds of debris taken to the dump. The final partial wall was put in this week, as well as a bunch of drywall installed and now getting tape and mud! Hoping for some great (and more complete) before and afters, soon! #remodel #fixerupper #oldhome
Our daughter's bedroom transformation. Finally, Our daughter's bedroom transformation. Finally, a room is move-in ready! We still need to paint and install the vent covers, add a door, and trim. But all can be done after we move in. The light fixture was a $5 thrift store find. I'm so pleased with how it looks in this room! The floors are hard wood. I picked warm color that is very close to our original floors downstairs, with some more color variation. #transformation #roominspiration #roomforinspo #Remodel #renovateyourhome
