We finally have a kitchen sink! In truly #unfit We finally have a kitchen sink! In truly #unfittedkitchen style - it's just a countertop & sink with a simple framed base. The counter and sink came with the house when we bought it. The faucet set was a deeply discounted $99 brand new Kohler Ealing faucet from a Habitat for Humanity ReStore. I am thinking of running a tension rod and skirt across the front to pretty it up a bit until we update the kitchen with cabinets and the antique sink we have in storage! #remodel #renovate #kitchenremodel #homestead

Hello, week 39! 👋 The last week of pregnancy, I Hello, week 39! 👋 The last week of pregnancy, I buy myself a cake. I save a few pieces in the fridge, slice, freeze, and vaccume seal the rest. I do this for a few reasons: After I have the baby, I'll have an arrival celebration treat available right away 🥳 If I go overdue, I have consolation cake. 🎂 During the early postpartum days that can be emotional, I have pick-me-up cake 🥰

The early days in our first home. We still don't The early days in our first home. We still don't have a kitchen sink or permanent cabinets. Our washer and dryer will be installed later this week, into a room with no drywall. Everything is everywhere. I'm due with baby #4 in 17 days. And yet, it's put us all at peace to finally be home. There's still a ton to do, but at least we're not divided between 2 spaces now and can settle into a new normal.
